Reminds me of a story about AWS. Why AWS doesn't support IPv6. Some kind of network equipment would need to be replaced, and AWS had so many that it would need the complete world production for a year in order to get v6-capable gear.

Q: What happens if we spend nearly $3T on stuff of which the world production is smaller? A: Some people will commit to much less in the short term. Some others will be careless and sign a contract with Nvidia that lets Nvidia sell them the last H100s before production ceases, at today's prices.
